The "island of discord" or "manzana de la Discòrdia" owes its name to three buildings designed by Modernism's most important architects: Gaudí, Puig i Cadafalch and Domènech i Montaner who are respectively credited with Casa Batlló, Casa Amatller and Casa Lleó i Morera. Besides these three emblematic buildings, there are many others which are no less significant, such as Casa Ramón Mulleras (1911), by Enric Sagnier, and Casa Bonet by Jaume Brossà.
