The former residence of Juan Alfonso de Benavides is a perfect example of the late-Gothic style. The exceptional façade attributed to Juan Guas and Enrique Egas is a pure wonder, perfectly demonstrating the taste of the nobility at the time for heavy decoration. Inside, a graceful Renaissance patio with marbled Corinthian columns and a monumental Baroque staircase complete the picture. Today, the building houses the Andalucia International University.
